May has been really productive for me – some good etching print runs and a raft of small painted sketches. In my sketchbook I notice that I’ve been heavily leaning on blues and greens with shots of yellow. It feels familiar and rewarding so I’m running with it. This sketch below incorporates a shift in repeated motif vocabulary and I’m waiting to see where that might take me.
