The “Juno” etchings comprise of two 10m prints suspended on a rusting steel frame. The work is a deeply emotional response to my familial connections to the D-Day landings, aiming to capture the moment of arrival, the anxiety, fear and adrenaline now held in perpetuity on the beach. The work follows repeated visits to Normandy where I have been faced by challenging emotions strewn across the sands and shallow waters.

This deeply personal, emotional work is part of a considerable body of work exploring time and place, and the resilience of memory.
