July has been a very busy month personally and has been one of joyful emotions. Throughout this summer I had been reminded how much the music of Joni Mitchell has been a background to my life. The shapes that appeared in association with the anniversary of ‘Blue’ have become part of the current vocabulary and I’m using them extensively in my sketchbooks.
