Whilst my etching plates are in the acid I find an urge to sketch – an induced urgency brought on my the timer ticking away slowly. Ideas flow quickly and freely and the repeated symbols and visual language is energetically recorded. Some images further develop to become prints, others simply allow an outlet for thought and emotion.
